Ralph K. Fulford, 84, of Linton passed from this life, on Monday, June 17, 2024, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. He was born on January 29, 1940 in Lyons to Fred H. and Alta Laverne (Beal) Fulford. Ralph married his loving wife of 60 years, Carol A. (Singleton) Fulford on March 7, 1964.

Ralph was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in the Korean War. He was a member of the Jasonville Assembly of God church, serving as a deacon, board member and secretary of the board for many years. Ralph worked as an inspector at Crane, retiring in 2005 with over 30 years’ service. He enjoyed making walking sticks, woodworking and especially spending time with his family.

Family left to cherish the memories of Ralph include his wife, Carol Fulford; one son, Brad (Robin) Fulford; one daughter, Kim (Jim) Tibbett, both of Linton; grandchildren, Dustin Fulford, Jacob (Chelsea) Tibbett, Ashley (Ian) Mair and Cody Jackson; several great-grandchildren and one brother, Ted (Linda) Fulford of Lyons.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dorothy Glaspie and brothers, Robert, Claude, Clyde, Owen and Richard Fulford.

Funeral services to honor the life of Ralph will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Pastor Sam Bush and Pastor Kyle Walsh officiating. Military rites will be presented by the Linton American Legion Post 22. Ralph will be laid to rest in Morris Chapel Cemetery in Linton.

Family and friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 20 and from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Wounded Warriors. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
