Helen Marie (Mowery) Keller

Helen Marie (Mowery) Keller, 91, of Jasonville, passed away at 9:28 a.m. on Sunday, July 14, 2024 in Glenburn Senior Living in Linton.

She was born January 19, 1933 in Jasonville to Clarence Edward Mowery and Mary Armanda (Moulden) Mowery.

Helen married Dean Keller on December 25, 1951, He passed away on September 25, 1996.

Survivors include her children, Lynn D. Hobbs (Rick) of Jasonville and Larry Dean Keller (Janet) of Harrison, Ohio; grandchildren, Gina Boardman, Erica Wring, Morgan Dubbs, Nathan Keller and Emily Bagazinski; great-grandchildren, Alexandra Boardman, Jaclyn Boardman, Kyle Boardman, Grayson Callahan, Milly Callahan, Colette Bagazinski, Eva Wring, Thomas Wring, Stephen Wring, Caleb Wring, Graham Dubbs and Landon Dubbs; siblings, Don Mowery (Jeanie) of Vicksburg and Jerry Mowery (Margaret) of Linton; sisters in-law, Shirley Mowery of Vicksburg and Ann Mowery of Linton; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant son, Lee Derek Keller; brothers, Bob Mowery and Bill Mowery.

Helen graduated. She worked at Formfit and later owned and operated Zinz Flowershop for 13 years, before she retired. Helen enjoyed making pottery and enjoyed sewing too. She made most of the kid’s clothes as they were growing up. She also worked as a pink lady for several years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids. She was an active member of Lebanon Baptist Church. She was affectionately known as Mabell to Mike Trinkle.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street in Jasonville. Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024 at the funeral home. Services are immediately following at 1 p.m. with Pastor Mike Rotman officiating.

Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.
