Rosemary Hatfield

Rosemary Hatfield, 89, of Linton, formerly of Bloomfield, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Glenburn Nursing Home in Linton. She was born on February 13, 1935 in Plummer to Clarence and Bessie Naomi (Fish) Rollins. Rosemary married Earl Leon Cooper and then she married Warren L. Hatfield.

Rosemary was a member of the Linton First Christian Church, the Prime Timers at the church, Greene County Right to Life and Hoosier Homemakers of Greene County. She taught AWANA in various churches. She was a co-owner of A-Line Moving and Storage for 15 years. She retired in 1998.

Family left to cherish the memories of Rosemary include four sons, James (Jackie) Cooper of Panama City, Fla., Rick (Pam) Cooper of Madison, Gary (Marlene) Cooper of Greenwood and Tim (Angi) Cooper of Bloomfield; step-daughter, Kae Dee (Jack) Faubion of Heltonville; 16 grandchildren; several great and great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Darrell (Mary Ann) Rollins of Odon and George (Christine) Rollins of Newberry as well as sister, Dorothy Harkin of Ga..

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; her first and second husbands; infant son, Jackie Lee Cooper; granddaughter, Lynne Anne Cooper and siblings, Eugene Rollins, Larry Rollins, Jo Anna Henderson and Betty Mischler.

Funeral services to honor the life of Rosemary will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Linton First Christian Church with Archie Ellett and her son, Jim Cooper officiating. Rosemary will be laid to rest in Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. on Monday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Linton First Christian Church or Greene Co. Right to Life. Envelopes will be available at the church.
