* Books for babies is a national literacy program that acquaints parents and newborns with the important role they play in the development of their children. Parents are presented with a "Books for Babies" kit containing a book, baby's first library card and brochures with reading tips for parents and caregivers. If you are a new mother and a resident of Greene County in one of the following townships: Richland, Highland, Taylor, Beech Creek, Center or Jackson, you are eligible for a free gift for you and your baby.
