Why tear the girls down before Sectionals with a post like that? Barr-Reeve is 19-1 and a very talented basketball team. I think our girls will be ready for Tuesday's game and will give themselves a chance to cut down the nets.

I am not from Linton; however, I have seen this team play on multiple occasions, and they are legitimately nine or so deep. The Fougerousse girl is an outstanding player, but there are a full compliment of athletes that can step up at any time. Not to jinx them, but I have also witnessed the other teams in Sectional 45, and if I had to pick a slight favorite it would be Linton. This is a much improved team that deserves respect. I assure you, they would not have been invited to Vincennes Rivet's Tournament if they were not turning some heads. I also was scouting Barr-Reeve last night and witnessed a very promising group of underclass student athletes representing the Linton JV team. You also have a quality coaching staff. I think the future is bright for the Linton's girls program. Good Luck Lady Miners! Go get a Sectional!
