In anticipation of tomorrow's winter storm moving into the area, please

encourage the public to avoid contacting local, county, or state police

dispatch centers with questions regarding road and weather conditions.

The dispatch center employees are extremely busy during these times of

inclement weather and having to answer road and weather related

questions can delay officers from receiving emergency dispatch

information. To receive the latest road and weather updates, encourage

citizens to tune into their local television or radio stations or

contact the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) 24 hour Road

and Weather information number at 800-261-ROAD (7623) or visit INDOT's

road and weather web page at www.TrafficWise.in.gov

. This site contains statewide road and weather conditions for all of

Indiana and there is also a link to the Federal Highway Administration

which has a link for national traffic and road closure information.

I am glad I stocked up on groceries last week. We have enough food to be snowed in for a month. LOL Bring on the snow so it will get over with and spring can come on in!!!
