Shayna Nicol poured in 17 points to pace the Lady Bulldogs, who slipped to 2-8.
Morgan Stanifer added 15 points for Union (Dugger), who will play at 7 p.m. tonight in the consolation game.
"I thought we played pretty well," said Union (Dugger) coach Benji Boyd. "It was not a case where we were outclassed.
"The girls played hard. The effort was there. I can't fault that."
The Lady Indians, who improved to 2-11, 22-12 lead after the opening eight minutes.
"They hit everything they shot in the first quarter," said Boyd. "But we did not guard them.
"They practicially had their yearly average in the first quarter. We have a way of doing that to teams."
Host Red Hill and Noble, two Illinois schools, were scheduled to meet in game two Monday.
