She was born on July 4, 1914 in Jasonville to Herbert and Doris Dayton Yeryar.
She was a homemaker and owned and operated Jasonville Package Store for 23 years. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Jasonville and also Delta Theta Tau Sorority.
She is survived by two sisters; Virginia Miller of DeLand, FL, and Donna Carr of Beaumont, TX, one brother; Kenneth Yeryar of Princeton, a son; Gary Brewer of Worthington, six grandsons; Cary, Gary, Larry and Cristian Brewer of Worthington, Greg Andis of Columbus, and Dodge Andis of Indianapolis, six great-grandsons and three great- granddaughters. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews and two very special friends; Sharon Gibbons and Liz Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cary Brewer; her second husband, James McCall; four sisters, Leona Gift, Pearl Price, Hazel Yeryar and Lucille Yeryar; two brothers, Herbert E. Yeryar and Lowell Yeryar; her parents; and her beloved daughter, Peggy Brewer Andis.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Jasonville with visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville and from 9:30 AM until service time at the church on Thursday.
Interment will be in Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.
