LYONS: Wagonteamster Bob Skelding (above) treated White River Valley-Lyons Elementary student Briana Lester to a ride on one of his horses during a surprise visit to the school on the day before Thanksgiving. Skelding traveled through Greene County last week, pulling a wagon with a team of horses. He made several stops during three days in the county and they are documented with stories and pictures on his Web site at www.wagonteamster.com At the school, Skelding answered questions and gave students a glimpse of his life on the road traveling around the country in search of a simpler life. Skelding then got an invitation to lunch to swap stories and share pizza with the students in the school cafeteria. Students (left, from left) Macey Mowery, Milea Heath, and Francisca Higgins visit with Skelding and one of his horses.

What an awesome recovery he has made. I spoke to his sister right after it happen, she was very much concerned for him at the time. His new wagon is awesome.
Roll on Bob.
