Bloomington man treated on scene of accident east of Bloomfield

A 71-year-old Bloomington man was treated for a minor injury on the scene of an accident east of Bloomfield late Monday afternoon.

Paul C. Becker was driving a red 2003 Pontiac SUV westbound on State Road 54 east of County Road 625E in Center Township when the accident occurred at approximately 5:01 p.m.

Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Leon Dunigan responded and reported Becker ran off the roadway due to a medical condition.

Becker was treated by personnel from the Greene County Ambulance Service for a bloody nose caused by the deployment of an air bag but he was not reported to have been transported to a hospital.

The Bloomfield Police Department and Center Township Fire Department also responded to assist on the scene.
