They began the season November 19 with a 45-12 win at Clay City as Dane Rupska and Ryan Woodward scored 12 points each to lead the Miners.
Rupska added four rebounds while Woodward dished out three assists.
Beau Eaton checked out of the game with eight points and five rebounds while Zane Hayden finished the contest with six points and two steals.
Bryant Jackson added four points and two rebounds, Zach Riddell finished with two points and two rebounds while Evan Sipes closed out the night with one point.
"This was an overall good game for us, as we did a lot of things well," Linton-Stockton coach Darren Woodward said. "Defensively it may have been the best game we ever played. The balanced scoring from the offensive side was great to see, too."
They followed their opening night win with a 25-12 decision in their home opener against South Knox Monday night.
Rupska led the way once again. This time he scored nine points and hauled in six rebounds while Woodward and Eaton both finished with six points.
Eaton added four boards while Woodward dealt three assists.
Paul Goodman checked out with three points and two rebounds while Jackson finished with one point and two rebounds.
"We struggled a little bit on the offensive end, as teh game was close until about the last three minutes," coach Woodward said. "Our defense was pretty good again tonight, which is has to be for us to be competitive."
