National VFW Commander coming to Worthington on Wednesday

The national commander in chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) will visit Worthington Post 7117 on Wednesday.

Commander Thomas Tradewell is due to speak at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the VFW hall.

Worthington post Commander Kenny Stalcup says Tradewell likely will discuss his recent trips to Iraq and Afghanistan. Members of all veterans organizations and the general public are welcome to attend.

Tradewell was elected national commander in August. The Army veteran from Wisconsin was a demolition specialist in Vietnam.
