WestGate tenant lands Crane contract worth up to $42 million

CRANE -- WestGate at Crane Tech Park tenant EG & G, a division of URS Corporation, announced Monday that it has been selected to provide logistics, engineering and project management support for the Flight Systems Division of the Naval Surface Warfare Center at Crane.

The contract has two base years and three additional option years for a total five-year period of performance. It has a maximum value of $42 million to URS.

Under the terms of the contract, URS will provide a range of services, including technical and specialty engineering, instrumentation testing, data collection and analysis, hardware and software integration, supply chain management, maintenance, logistics planning and forecasting, technical documentation, and program support for the Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, Missile Defense Agency, and the Space and Missile Defense Command.

On August 4, EG & G/URS announced a separate contract with NSWC Crane to support the Technology and Infrastructure Protection Division.
