Taylor Blanton, 17, the driver of a 1997 Volkswagon Cabrio, and a passenger in her car, Caitlyn Robertson, 16, were transported by the Greene County Ambulance Service and Linton Rescue.
Later in the day, Greene County General Hospital reported both were treated and released.
Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Terry L. Wade reported the accident happened on the highway west of County Road 700W.
According to his report, three vehicles were all traveling west on the highway when the first vehicle, a 2005 Nissan Quest driven by Sharon Mouzin, 44, Vincennes, made a quick turn into a private driveway.
William Bough, 57, Worthington, was behind Mouzin in a 1993 GMC Sierra and struck Mouzin's vehicle in the rear as it was making the turn.
Blanton was traveling behind Bough and then struck Bough's truck in the rear.
Deputy Wade reported the airbags in Blanton's car deployed upon impact and all drivers and passengers in all three vehicles were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
In addition to Wade and other deputies and the ambulances, the Grant-Fairplay Township Fire Department from Switz City also responded to assist on the scene.
