* Oct. 15 -- Jessica M. Donie, 21, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated with refusal and was being held on $4,000 bond. Linton Police Cpl. Chad Crynes was the arresting officer.

The Linton Police Department's activity log for Wednesday included one medical/extraction, one bar fight, three incidents of vandalism, one criminal mischief, one disorderly conduct, two accidents with property damage, one medical/illness, four animal complaints, one theft-other, one fingerprint for a gun permit and one assist to the fire department.
* Oct. 14 -- An employee of Glenburn Nursing Home reported the theft of prescription medication from her purse while she was at work. LPD Officer Heath Murray was the investigating officer.
* Oct. 14 -- A resident on SE 6th St. reported an incident of vandalism that occurred sometime during the night of Oct. 13-14. Someone busted out the whole back glass of their Saturn vehicle. LPD Det. Duane Collenbaugh is the investigating officer.
* Oct. 14 -- A resident on SE 8th St. reported an incident of vandalism that occurred sometime during the night of Oct. 13-14. Someone busted out the whole back glass of their Ford vehicle. LPD Det. Duane Collenbaugh is the investigating officer.
* Oct. 14 -- A resident on SE 3rd St. reported an incident of vandalism that occurred sometime during the night of Oct. 13-14. Someone tore up their Halloween decorations and scattered them all over the yard. LPD Det. Duane Collenbaugh is the investigating officer.
