Updated: Police locate missing Orleans man

A missing Orleans man has been located.

Today at 12:51 p.m. the Orange County Sheriff's Department received a call from Thomas Hackney's family advising that they had located Thomas on some family property in Orleans, according to Indiana State Police Public Information officer Sgt. Chad Dick of the Evansville Post.

According Indiana State Trooper David Henderson, "At this time we do not know why he had not contacted his family since Monday, but Mr. Hackney is alive and well.

He was reported missing yesterday in a state-wide alert issued by the Indiana State Police

Quite the odd case....glad he's safe...but just odd to disappear with no contact and then suddenly reappear.
