The Linton Police Department's activity log for Tuesday included one incident of trespassing, one follow-up investigation, one assist to the utility department after hours, one vandalism, one protective order violation, one death investigation, one vehicle fire, five medical/illness, two animal complaints, one extra patrol, one domestic dispute, one animal/canine removed, one abandoned vehicle and three traffic stops.
* Oct. 6 -- A female resident reported an invasion of privacy and protective order violation by another woman that allegedly occurred around 6 p.m. when the woman waved and said something as she passed the resident after talking with the resident's boyfriend. LPD Officer Karl Jacobshagen was the investigation officer.
