Lady Miners beat Linton, ND boys

The Linton-Stockton Junior High School girls cross country outran the Miner boys and North Daviess 34-35-62 in meet Tuesday.

The meet was won by Diego Covarrubias from Linton with a time of 13 minutes and 22 seconds.

Hunter Rennick was second followed by Agustin Covarrubias. Even though the Linton boys team took the top three spots they were beaten by the girls superior depth with Jackie Nash (fourth), Katie Doyle (five), Shelby Nash (seventh), Avaree Dunn (eighth), and Morgan Cox (10th).

Kole Gardener was (13th) and Kalen Lawson (16) for the Miner boys team.

Other Lady Miner finishers were Maddie Robison (11), Carlie Williams (14) and MayKayla Ketchem (15).
