Huffmans to celebrate 40th anniversary

Julian and Sandy Huffman of Bloomfield will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a reception hosted by their children Sept. 5 from 4-6 p.m. at the Mineral Methodist Community Building in rural Bloomfield.

The Huffmans were married Aug. 10, 1969 at the Odon First Christian Church. Sandy, the former Sandy Potts, has been a registered nurse for more than 41 years and is currently employed by Bloomington Hospital Home Health.

Julian retired from the Indiana Department of Transportation in Bloomfield after almost 30 years of service.

They have three children, daughter Juli Huffman of Noblesville, daughter Jodi (Leon) Dunigan of Worthington, and son Andy Huffman of Bloomfield. They are also the proud grandparents of two granddaughters, Darian and Greta Dunigan of Worthington.
