Harold Ray Lawson, age 63, of Linton, passed away on Tues., Aug. 4, 2009, at his residence in Linton. He was born Oct. 19, 1945, in Linton, the son of Gilbert & Estella (Collins) Lawson.

He was retired from Texas Gas Corp & Carpenters Local 546 in Vincennes. He was a member of IWCS, International Wood Collectors Society, & American Legion Post #22 in Linton.

He is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Marjorie (Hardin) Lawson of Linton, a daughter, Beth (Blaine) Lannan of Linton, a son, Travis Lawson of Linton, a brother, Donald Lawson of Linton, a sister, Stella Fields of Solsberry, eight grandchildren, Kalen & Kaden Lawson, Brittany & Emily Rehmel, & Tara, Britt, Jarrett, & Delaney Lannan, sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Mike & Mary Sherrill, brother-in-law, Jack Earl Hardin, Jr., & several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents & siblings, Paul Lawson, Ruby Stidd, Corrine Mair, & Jeannie Leighty.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M Mon., Aug. 10, at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel, Revs. Doug Cassel & Jim Ramey officiating. Burial will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.

Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. Sun. & after 9 A.M. Mon. at the funeral home.
