Jane Salyer

Jane Salyer, 85, of Eddyville, Ky., passed away at 6:55 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2009 in Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.

Salyer was retired as an administrative secretary for Indiana Bell. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Linton.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Harold Salyer; one son, Max Morgan of Miami Springs, FL.; one step-daughter, Barbara Beckman of Newburgh; three step-grandchildren; one brother, Max A. Harrah of Indianapolis.

She was preceded in death by one step-grandchild, two brothers and her parents, William and Cora West Harrah.

Memorial services will be Sunday, July 12, 2009 at 2 p.m at Eddyville United Methodist Church with Rev. Jack Larwa officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville is handling arrangements.
