I-69 project office to reduce office hours starting next week

With the close of the comment periods for the Draft Environmental Impact Statement on Section 2 and 3 of the Interstate 69 project, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will be reducing the office hours for the combined Section 2 and 3 Project Office in Washington.

Section 2 runs from SR 64 near Oakland City to US 50 near Washington while Section 3 is from U.S. 50 near Washington to US 231 near Scotland in Greene County.

The change in office hours is effective Monday.

Section 2 will have office hours on Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Section 3 will have office hours on Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Appointments can be scheduled if persons are unable to visit the combined project office during regularly scheduled office hours, according to INDOT spokesman Bruce Childs.
