This was the best fathers day. We fished for 8hr and Alex caught a couple of keeper bass after catching this monster. I encourage all fathers to take their kids fishing!
Question about this fish? Are we not supposed to kill these fish when we catch them? Just wondering. Hear they are fun to catch but also heard they are not good for indiana waterways. Any one know for sure. Thanks... And nice catch young man.. :)
Most people consider the bowfin to be a trash fish.
I've never seen one before so don't know much about it. Just know the mouth is full of teeth and they put up a good fight.
What a great photo!!!
j77,
Excellent point. The best thing you can do with your chidren is to spend time with them from when they are young. Fishing is a great way to do that!
NICE FISH!
I agree!! Take time to take your family fishing. It is a great time for bonding. Just returned today With son Bill and grandson Billy Newton from Canada on a fishing trip. Bill and Billy both caught trophy walleye fish. Billy's was 30 inches long and weighed app. 11 lbs. It will be mounted. What great memories!
