He was born Oct. 16, 1957, in Connersville, the son of William J. and Treva L. (Chaney) Henico.
He graduated in 1977 from Linton-Stockton High School, presently worked at Milestones in Bloomington as a Behavioral Tech and previously worked for 28 years in funeral service at Anderson-Poindexter Funeral Home in Linton. He attended the First Christian Church in Linton and was known locally as a singer at many events.
Survivors include his mother, Treva L. Padgett of Poland; his former wife, Teresa R. (Walker) Henico of Linton; two sons, Douglas C. Henico of Vincennes and Wyatt M. Henico of Linton; four daughters, Renee' M. Henico of Terre Haute, Savannah N. Henico, Brianna L. Henico and Amanda P. Henico, all of Linton; a sister, Melissa A. Cody of Linton; and a brother, Marland J. Henico of Haubstadt.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Henico; his uncle, Frank Henico; and his aunt, Nancy Henico-Garrett.
Funeral service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 15, at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton with Nick Moore officiating. Private burial will be at Switz City Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. Friday until the hour of the service.
The family has suggested that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
