Born in Marco, on July 31, 1919, she was the daughter of Curtis R. and Laura M. (West) Heaton. She married Gail Wright in August of 1939.
Anna Lee was a homemaker and enjoyed family camping events when her children and grandchildren were young. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Church of Christ, the Ladies' Elks BPO #866, and Psi Iota Xi Sorority.
Surviving family includes a daughter, Luanne (Tom) Bucci of Bloomington; a son, Gordon (Deborah) Wright of Linton; four grandchildren: Ann (Jay) Gainey of Linton, Arin (Matt) Aldrich of Indianapolis, Maria (Raul) Bucci-Orozco of New York City, and Reid Bucci of Chicago; three great grandchildren: Madeleine, Corinne, and Charlotte; and long time family friend, Bill Richardson.
Anna Lee was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gail Wright, two brothers, Samuel and Darrell Heaton and a sister, Eula Berns.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel with Rick Tribby officiating. Interment will follow at Linton's Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton from 5-8 p.m. on Monday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday.
The family has requested memorial contributions to be made to the Ronald McDonald House/Riley Children's Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
