Betty L. Neidigh

Betty L. Neidigh, 80, of Lyons, passed away at 3:50 a.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2009 at Millers Merry Manor in Sullivan.

Born Sept. 27, 1928 in Marion County, she was the daughter of Floyd and Mary I. (Vandeventer) Kendall.

Betty was a member of the banking community for many years working in bookkeeping, she was a member of the Sandborn United Methodist Church.

Surviving relatives include one son, Doug Neidigh and his wife Peg of Elnora; one daughter, Nancy Porter of Carlisle; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one sister, Kay Jones of North Manchester, IN.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Josephine Weaver.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday, April 18, at Jenkins Funeral Home in Lyons.

Service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Don Reed officiating.

Betty's wishes were to be cremated, burial will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes any donations be made to the American Stroke Association or your favorite charity.
