Mark Christopher Deem

Mark Christopher Deem, 49, of Bloomfield, passed away at 5:58 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2009 at his grandmothers' residence in Bloomfield.

Born June 25, 1959 in Bloomington, he was the son of William and Mildred (Groomer) Deem.

Mark was a devoted family man who was also an avid fisherman and motorcycle enthusiast.

Surviving relatives include: one son, Toby Christopher Deem and his wife Cheryl of Bloomfield; granddaughter, Jaiden Ruthanne Deem of Bloomfield; his parents, William and Mildred Deem of Avon; two brothers, Michael Deem of Greenfield and Steven Deem of Indianapolis; one sister, Marsha Carson of Elizabthtown; and his grandmother, Ruth B. Field of Bloomfield.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Tina Rene'e Deem and grandfather, Robert Groomer.

Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2009 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Max Downs officiating. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and one-hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
