Marusek and Polin to wed June 6

Carrie Monica Marusek and Michael Robert Polin are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage on June 6, 2009.

They will exchange vows at Our Lady of Greenwood, in Greenwood.

Marusek is the daughter of James and Maria Marusek of Bloomfield, and Polin is the son of Dr. John E. and Linda Polin of Evansville.

Marusek is a 2001 graduate of Bloomfield High School and a 2005 graduate of Indiana State University. She graduated from ISU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry.

Polin is a 2001 graduate of Memorial High School in Evansville and a 2005 graduate of Miami University in Ohio. He graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology.

They will both graduate in May from Indiana University School of Medicine with a Doctoral degree in Medicine.

The couple will reside in Birmingham, Ala., where Marusek will be pursuing a residency in Anesthesiology and Polin pursuing a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
