Beck, Tapak to marry July 18

Tom and Suzy Beck of Bloomfield are announcing the engagement of their daughter Emily Suzanne Beck to Ryan Michael Tapak.

Beck is a 2002 graduate of Bloomfield High School and a 2007 graduate of Indiana University. Her degree is in Elementary Education All Learners. She is currently teaching at Henry Burkhart Elementary School in Indianapolis.

Tapak is the son of Joe and Evelyn Tapak of Indianapolis. He graduated in 2001 from Perry Meridian High School and 2005 from Indiana University with a degree in Public Affairs. While attending IU, he was a four-year member of the IU basketball team. He currently works for the Hartford.

The couple is planning a July 18 wedding and will reside in Greenwood.
