Eric W. Garrett

Eric W. Garrett, 29, of Jasonville, died at 4:56 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2009 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.

He was born March 20, 1979 in Great Lakes, Ill. to Isaac C. Garrett and Teri Jean (Tyler) Garrett

He worked at Alomatic-Raybestos Powertrain and was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #172 in Jasonville.

Survivors include a daughter, Hayleigh Garrett and a son, Isaac W. Garrett of Michigan; a brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Lisa Garrett of Jasonville; a sister, Elizabeth Ford of Ohio; his mother, Teri Jean Garrett of Florida; foster sisters Connie Zellers of Jasonville, Melody Chaney of Worthington; and foster father, Lloyd Scott of Worthington;

He was preceded in death by his father Isaac C. Garrett; and foster mother, Shirley Scott.

Visitation will be from 4-8 Friday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville.

Funeral Service will follow at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, located 631 East Main St. in Jasonville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Eric's children. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
