Ronald Lee Lowther

Ronald Lee Lowther, 49, of Bloomfield, passed away, 11:40 a.m. Feb. 18, 2009, in Bloomfield, of lung cancer.

He was born Sept. 3, 1959 in Elyria, Ohio to Lester Carl and Donna Mae (McDaniel) Lowther.

He is survived by his wife, Jennie Ann (Jackson) Lowther; his father, Lester Carl Lowther, Camdon, WV; three children, Kenneth William "K W" (Laura) Lowther, Gosport; Matthew Ryan Lowther, Bloomington; Tabitha Kay Lowther, Bloomfield; four step-children, Lowell Eugene Hall, Bloomfield; David Andrew Hall, Bloomfield; Matthew Tyler Hall, Bloomfield; Christopher Lee Freeman, Jasonville; one granddaughter, Alexandra Lee Lowther; three brothers, Rick and Kevin Kirkpatrick and Richard Allen Lowther.

He was preceded in death by his mother; a sister, Martha Phillips, brothers, John and Denny Kirkpatrick and Kenneth Ray Cahall.

Friends may call at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday.

Graveside service 2 p.m. Friday at Calvertville Cemetery with Bro. George Murphy officiating.
