Groover, Walters to marry

Jim and Penny Groover of Clay City, along with Mike and Janis Walters of Jasonville, would like to announce the upcoming marriage of their children Patti Sue Groover to Kent Michael Walters.

The ceremony will take place Saturday, March 7 at 4:30 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church with a reception to immediately follow at the Roy Clark Community Building in Linton City Park.

The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Clay City High School and a 2007 graduate of Indiana State University with a Masters of Science Degree. She is employed as a Family Nurse Practitioner by Union Hospital in Family Medicine, EmCare as a part of Union's Emergency Department, and Putnam County Hospital also in the Emergency Department.

Walters is a 1995 graduate of Shakamak High School. He is employed by the Iron Workers Union, Local 22.
