Mary L. Hamilton

Mary L. Hamilton, 87, of Odon, passed away at 2:05 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009 at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington.

Born Oct. 1, 1921 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Oakie Logan and Ethel (Ault) Roberts.

Mary was a homemaker and a member of the Kentucky Ridge Baptist Church.

Surviving relatives include: one daughter, Carolyn Ann Hamilton of Fort Wayne; one son, Ronald Hamilton and his wife Ann of Bloomfield; five grandchildren Ron Hamilton II of California, Brian Hamilton of Bedford, Melissa Bentley of Sandwich, Ill., Kristi Wiser of Attica, and Beth Goss of Greenwood; six great-grandchildren, James Hamilton, Trenton Bentley, Lexis Wiser, Emma Goss, Eddie Goss and Rylee Ann Goss.

Preceded in death by her husband Harold James Hamilton on Dec. 23, 2008; her parents; and several brother and sisters.

Friends may call from noon until the hour of service on Friday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Blomfield with Rev. Erin Raper officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Kentucky Ridge Cemetery in Bloomfield.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes all donations be made to the Kentucky Ridge Cemetery in Mary's name.
