He was born in Knox County on March 18, 1923 to Spencer Robinson, and May Wolford Robinson.
He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, a member of the Dugger American Legion Post #224, the Masonic Lodge #535 in Edwardsport, and retired from Western Electric in Indianapolis after 29, years.
Survivors include his wife, Blanche Robertson Robinson; two sons, Robert Robinson of Linton, and Jack Robinson of Rockville; three sisters, three granddaughters, and two great grandchildre and one brother and four sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger with Rev. Harold Hatfield officiating. Burial in the Woodward Cemetery near Dugger.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
