Marjorie Ruth "Margie" Miller

Marjorie Ruth "Margie" Miller, 81, of Route 2, Worthington, passed away at 8:15 a.m., Monday, January 12, 2009, at Greene County General Hospital, in Linton.

She was born Aug. 1, 1927 in Worthington to A. Earl and Clara (Wall) Dyer.

She was a nurse and she retired from Greene Co. General Hospital in 1980. She got her RN degree from Indianapolis City Hospital School of Nursing in 1949. She was a member of Worthington Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband, who she married Sept. 11, 1949, Charles "Gene" Miller, Worthington; two sons, Mike Miller, Worthington; Charles C. "Chuck" (Sandy) Miller, Worthington; three granddaughters, Paige, Lydia and Aubree Miller.

She was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers, Wilbur, Earl, Bob, Marvin, Rusty, Harry and Wilson; two sisters, Allegra Crooke and Grace Gourdouze.

Graveside service will be held at a later date.
