Born August 9, 1936 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Marion and Keneva (Johnson) Myers.
She was an assembly worker for General Electric, a homemaker, and a breeder of Boston Terriers for 14 years as owner and operator with her husband Marvin of Brannon's Boston's. She was a member of the Linton American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving relatives include: her husband, Marvin Kelley, whom she married May 6, 1985; three sons, Matthew Brannon of Memphis, Tenn., Eben T. Haywood of Koleen, and Eli Haywood of Linton; one daughter, Emma Mae Haywood of Mississippi; one brother, Sam Myers of Bloomfield; two sisters, Sarah Gillespie of Bedford and Charlotte Deckard of Springville; six grandchildren and 10 great, grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 P.M. on Monday December 22, 2008 and 12 Noon until the hour Tuesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral Service will be at 1 P.M. Tuesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler officiating.
Interment will be in Scotland cemetery.
Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Scotland Cemetery Fund in care of Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home.
