Ruth E. Michael

Ruth E. Michael, 94, a resident of Stonebridge Health Campus in Bedford passed away at 10:55 a.m. on Thursday Dec. 18, 2008 at Stonebridge Health Campus in Bedford.

Born May 2, 1914 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Lloyd and Halda (Casner) Hart.

Ruth was a homemaker and a member of the New Union Christian Church in Bedford.

Surviving relatives include: two daughters Anna Sue Rainey and her husband Jerry, Donna Kelly and her husband Neil all of Bedford; one son, Dennis Michael and his wife Vicki of San Diego, Calif; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and two great= great grandchildren; and one sister, Maxine Mooney of Cleveland, OH.

Ruth was preceded in death her husband, Roy A. Michael in 1984; three sisters, Nellie Hogue, Verna Frost, and Marjorie Winters; and one brother, Joe Hart.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and noon until the hour of service Monday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor David Vaughn officiating. Burial follow at Scotland Cemetery in Scotland.
