Beulah Bernice Sherman

Beulah Bernice Sherman, 92, of Greenwood and formerly of Dugger, passed away at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008 at Community South Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born in Dugger on March 25, 1916 the daughter of Claude Robert Shipman, and Charlotte McBride Shipman.

Bernice was a member of the First Christian Church in Dugger.

She was preceded in death by her husband Orval Sherman.

Survivors include: one son, Jerry Sherman of Bargersville; and one granddaughter, Denise Lyn Sherman.

Funeral service will be at 1p.m. Thursday December 18, 2008 at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger with Pastor Scott Chambers officiating. Burial will be in the Dugger Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
