Clarene F. Watson

Clarene F. Watson, 82, of Pleasantville, passed away at 6:25 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 2008 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.

She was born in Russell Springs, Ky. on Aug. 23, 1926, the daughter of Delmar and Neva (Phipps) Dowell.

She retired from RCA in Indianapolis after 38 years of service. She was a member of the Pleasantville United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Katrinka Martin of Pleasantville; a son, Jeff Watson of Greenwood; five grandchildren, Bridgett Bingham, Jeff R. Dedmon, Ricky Martin, Bryan Monday and Kimberly F. Martin;12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Demus Watson.

Visitation will be conducted at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Sunday from 5-8 p.m.

Graveside service will be held at the Old Charity Cemetery in Somerset, Ky. at 1:30 P.M. Monday, Dec. 15, 2008.
