Roberta J. Alumbaugh

Roberta J. Alumbaugh, 84, of Dugger, passed away at 4:00 p.m. Friday Nov. 21, 2008 at Miller's Merry Manor in Sullivan.

She was born in Sullivan County on June 1, 1924, the daughter of John Robert Hill and Mary Ann Horne Hill.

Roberta was a member of the First Christian Church in Dugger, and the Eastern Star.

Survivors include one son, John Alumbaugh of Sullivan; one daughter, Anne Sly and her husband George of Sullivan; one sister, Molly Gilbert of Evansville; three grandchildren, Michelle Smith, Cacey Alumbaugh, Joe Alumbaugh, and two great-grandchildren, Gracie Smith and Riley Smith.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the First Christian Church in Dugger with Mark Glenn officiating. Interment in the Dugger Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m Tuesday at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger, and from 11 a.m. until service time at the First Christian Church.
