Ruth M. Wells

Ruth M. Wells, 88, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, Nov. 13. 2008 at Regency Place in Greenfield.

Born Sept. 29, 1920 in Owen County, she was the daughter of Cleotis E. and Stella E. (Fiscus) Collenbaugh.

She was a homemaker and had worked for RCA in Indianapolis. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Greenfield.

Survivors include: two children, Phyllis (Dennis) Fiscus, Greenfield; Norman E. (Dee) Wells, Chirsman; five grandchildren, Todd Well, Jill George, Jana Trace, Denny Fiscus and Veronica Alotta; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lois Leichty, Indianapolis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Edward Wells on April 23, 2006; one infant granddaughter; and one sister.

Service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home, Worthington Chapel.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Worthington Cemetery.
