Laura E. Jones

Laura E. Jones, 49, of Linton, passed away Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008, at her residence.

She was born in Gary on July 13, 1959, the daughter of Ellis and Fern (Hirsh) Vibbert.

She worked in sales and was a member of the St. Peter Catholic Church in Linton.

She is survived by her husband, Larry R. Jones of Linton, whom she married April 25, 1989; her two daughters, Cassandra Thomas of Bloomfield and Autumn Hufstedler of Linton; a niece, Darleen Combess of Burn City; a sister, Linda Dorado of Crown Point; and a granddaughter, Alexia.

She is preceded in death by a sister, Becky Johnston.

A private committal service will be held at the Burn City Cemetery in Burn City on Tuesday.

A private family visitation and ceremony, with Father Michael Madden officiating, will be held at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton.
