Merle and Pat Hardy

A memorial service with military rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Worthington Cemetery for Merle Hardy and Pat Hardy.

Merle Hardy passed away April 10, 2006. He was 80.

His son, Pat Hardy, passed away on Sept. 11, 2008.

Both were U.S. military veterans -- Merle served in World War II and Pat during the Vietnam War.

Members of Worthington VFW Post No. 7117 will conduct graveside military rites. Ellen Kirk will deliver the eulogy.

Arrangements for cremation of both was handled by Nathan Butler Funeral Home of Worthington.
