Pauline M. Rhodes

Pauline M. Rhodes, 83, of Jasonville and formerly of Scotchtown, passed away at 11:30 a.m. Sunday October 19, 2008 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

She was born in Greene County on June 16, 1925, the daughter of Charles Barton and Laura Leigh Barton.

Survivors include: one son, Donald Rhodes of Linton; three granddaughters, Christy Curtis, Belinda Archer, and Whitney Rhodes; and three great granddaughters, Mikla Curtis, Vanessa Murphy, and Courtney Murphy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norman Rhodes in 1995; a brother, Arthur Barton; a sister, Letia Fulk; and a sister who died in infancy.

There will be a private visitation, and a public graveside service at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Fairview Cemetery in Linton with Pastor David Tyra officiating.

Newkirk's Funeral Home of Dugger is in charge of arrangements.
