When the officers knocked on Douthitt's door with the warrant for Fields, there was a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the trailer when Douthitt answered the door. When they entered the trailer, they observed in plain view a green plant material, scissors, a hand-rolled cigarette burnt at one end and two packages of "Zig Zag" papers on a "Coca Cola" tray. The material field-tested positive for marijuana.
According to the affidavit, Douthitt voluntarily signed a consent to search and she stated that she and Fields had been smoking marijuana.

A criminal records check of Douthitt revealed that she had been arrested by the Jasonville Police Department for theft and possession of marijuana in 2005 and she was convicted of the possession charge in Greene Superior Court in 2005.

Way to go! At least some one is earning their money. I am in total admiration of ISP and County law enforcement. They work their buts off and get no respect for it. I think the law enforcement is very under paid, non-respected and thought of generally as people that want to give ou a hard time. Not so. I worked in the field of Law enforcement and it's not an easy job. Thank you for all the dangerous, thankless jobs you do. God Bless you all.
