Charles W. Timmons

Charles W. Timmons, 85, of Bloomfield, passed away at 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008 at his residence.

He was born Dec. 14, 1922 in Bloomfield, Indiana. He was the son of Marion Edward & Adrienne (Walker) Timmons.

He was retired from Bell Cleaners in Bloomfield. He was a member of the First Christian Church and American Legion Post # 196 both in Bloomfield, he was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II.

Surviving relatives include: one daughter Eileen Jensen of North Pole, Alaska; one son, Charles Timmons of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Maelu Timmons in 2002; one daughter Elaine Luther in 2000; one brother; one sister, and his parents.

There will be no public visitation.

A memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday and visitation at 1 p.m. at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
