Ginger Sipes is in her first year of scheduling the Apple Festival Entertainment.

She said, "Everyone has helped me with this process. It's been a pretty good experience and I'll do it again next year."

Her task began in March and she has worked closely with assistant Resa Woodruff. All performances will take place around the gazebo at the Bloomfield Park.

Sipes stated, "We have a budget for entertainment at the Apple Festival. However, many people do volunteer to perform."

Dennis White will be setting up all the sound equipment. He has done so for many years.

New to the schedule this year will be the Chainsaw Carving demonstration by Randy Baker and Jim Lee and Karaoke presented by Jim Dandy. Presentation of the Apple Festival Queen has been moved to an evening time so that more parents may attend the announcement.

Sipes shared that Greene County Sheriff Terry Pierce and Friends will also be performing. She said, "We talked him into it."

Festival-goers young and old will be treated to a full slate of entertainment.
