Mildred O. Mills

Mildred O. Mills, 89, of Jasonville and formerly of Hymera passed away at 3:45 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008 at Shakamak Good Samaritan Center at Jasonville.

Born October 22, 1918 in Woodbury, IL, the daughter, Clarence Wallisa and Bertha (Shafer) Wallisa

She was a homemaker and a member of the Hymera Southern Baptist Church.

Survivors include: a daughter, Edna Mae Crosby of Coalmont; sons, Albert Mills Jr. of Anderson and Stanley Mills of Cheyenne WY; sisters, Ethel Wright of Florida, Irene Bose, Virginia Harris of Brazil; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert Mills Sr. in February 1989; a son Steven Mills; and daughter, Sharon Mills.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Case Cemetery in Hymera with Bro. Harley Archer officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home of Jasonville.
