The event is sponsored by the Jasonville, Wright Township and Lewis Township fire departments.
The fair will begin at 4 p.m., however, there will be a corn hole tournament beginning at 1 p.m. The entry deadline is at 12:30 p.m. in order to draw for seedings and brackets.
An emergency vehicle parade will begin at dark traveling down Main Street in Jasonville.
"The Safety Fair has been popular with children and adults alike," Jasonville Fire Captain Mike Duckworth said.
Personnel from area police departments, the sheriff's department, ambulance service, Department of Homeland Security Haz-Mat Response team along with The Wright Township's Smoke House and popular tornado trailer are just some of the vendors who will participate this year.
The event has always been scheduled during Fire Prevention Week and incorporates all response agencies.

Jack Wilson's famous beans and cornbread will be served along with hot dogs and soda for the youngsters, explained Keller.
The safety fair will be also be visited by Sparky the Fire Dog and Smokey the Bear announced Jasonville Engineer Dave Neal Jr.
Neal went on to explain that since this is an election year that many of those vying for a spot in the political arena will also attend making this a perfect opportunity to meet and greet the candidates.
This event is not only for children so there will be plenty of food and fun for all ages, continued Neal.
This is a free event, however donations will be accepted to help defray costs.
