International Talk like a Pirate Day is today. Children may stop by the Bloomfield-Eastern Greene County Public Library main branch today or Saturday and do a special Pirate Scavenger Hunt in the children's area. Children and adults can receive a pirate sucker by coming in to the library on those days and "talking like a pirate" to one of the librarians.
Revival at Owensburg church

Free Tobacco Cessation Class Starting
A new tobacco cessation class is scheduled to begin September 30. Classes are scheduled for Tuesday evenings from 6 -- 8 PM for 8 -- 10 weeks. Sessions will be held at the Gr. Co.
